Women
The women’s first team
Established in 2026. Competing in the Altero.lv Women’s 1. līga as FK Cēsis / AC Jules Verne. In their first season they reached the quarterfinals of the 2026 Latvian Cup.
A new first team
New team, already impacting Baltic football
The board established the women’s programme in February 2026. Joe Clements joined as owner. Džeina Eglīte — Latvian international, Riga FC Women champion, and the first woman from the Cēsis region to become a two-time Latvian champion — was named head coach.
The plan was the same as the men’s: professionalism, and a club that women in Cēsis can see themselves in. The side now competes at the second-highest level of Latvian women’s football.
